Mer Bleue started when I began making necklaces from broken jewellery.
I would take old pieces apart and repurpose the beads, gemstones, and freshwater pearls into something new.
At first, I made these necklaces for friends using what already existed and giving it a second life. Over time, what began as a personal practice naturally grew into something I wanted to share more widely.
Each piece is handmade with love on Bundjalung Country. I work with recycled pearls, gemstones, and beads, and no two pieces are ever the same. Every necklace is uniquely made, carrying both its past and its new story.
Mer Bleue is about repurposing, slowing down, and creating jewellery that feels meaningful and lived
